Hotel La Casa del Tio Americano
"A Lovely Place to Stay"
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights as part of a birthday celebration. The Casa del Tio Americano was recommended to me by a friend and he wasn't wrong. We told the hotel it was a celebration and the first surprise was a welcome bottle of Cava. The rooms are small but that is to be expected as the hotel is in the old town of the village. The rooms are clean and have the expected level of toiletries. The bed is comfy. What would have been nice would have been additional pillows but I am 100% sure that had we asked for that they would have been provided. What makes this place special is the the staff (owners)...12 Oct, 0107 FrequentTravels000 en Tripadvisor
"Great hotel - highly tecommended"
We stayed for one night and wish we had stayed longer . We were advised that you had to walk a short distance from the parking to the hotel but the staff came and helped us with our luggage which was great. The room was very clean and comfortable with an amazing view and even a terrace . We were give sparkling wine on arrival and the staff were so friendly - they recommended a local tapas bar which was amazing. Breakfast was also really good - highly recommended Albarracin is a beautiful place to visit12 Oct, 0107 Judith V en Tripadvisor
"beautiful views, but you get what you pay for"
My wife did NOT like the room, which is basically the kind of room you expect for 100 euros. Room was old but clean, there was no A/C, and no screens in the windows, so some insects flew in with open windows. All this did not bother me, as the view from room #2 was gorgeous from the balcony. Breakfast was decent, and staff was friendly. Without my rusty high school Spanish, I might have been totally lost here and in Albarracin, as very little English is spoken at this hotel and in the town. One could argue for 4 stars (instead of 3) given the low price. I don't think there are any fancy hotels in Albarracin.12 Oct, 0107 Dave O en Tripadvisor
"lovely small boutique hotel run by Angeles and her brother"
more than a hotel, I'd say it's a guesthouse or B&B. Angeles is a very friendly person, going out of her way to please you. Our room was a bit small, yet cosy and nicely furnished. We were able to sit where we wanted, both in their common room as well as in the garden. Great view towards the historic town and the canyon. Excellent breakfast.12 Oct, 0107 pietro b en Tripadvisor
"Warm welcome and delightful stay"
This place couldn’t have ticked more boxes. Stunning setting, great hosts and fabulous location for exploring this amazing place. Eating our breakfast in the hidden garden while the rising sun hit the cathedral was a pure joy. We will be returning to this place. A charming hotel in a picturesque town. Would recommend to anyone.12 Oct, 0107 KPTaylor-Moon en Tripadvisor
